Annual Events and Entertainment in Oldsmar

 The festive season in Oldsmar spans many celebrations. The "Days and Nights" festival involves entire families. Spanning 3 days, this festival entails car shows, arts and crafts exhibitions, live music, parades, carnival rides, gourmet food etc. This is set up against the background of the Tampa Bay at the R.E. Olds Park.

October brings with it the Oktoberfest. Typically German in nature, Oldsmar residents get to experience German culture and tradition inclusive of food, drinks and music. Midways and carnival rides, Bavarian Folk Dancers and a number of contests with audiences participating fully make this festival one special event.

Activities in Oldsmar:

Go restaurant hopping at small cozy cafes or big branded ones with cuisines ranging from the Latin American, Continental and Italian.

For shopping, there are the small shopping centers stocking furniture, home improvement products, jewelry and trinkets, and groceries. The largest mall nearby is the Westfield Citrus Park Mall in Tampa along with the Westfield Countryside Mall in Clearwater. Given Oldsmar's central location, both Tampa and Clearwater are about 10 minutes drive away.

For casual dining, Oldsmar has Jack Willie's and Georgia Boy's Bar-B-Que. A slightly more official gathering can be hosted at Alberto's Italian Grill. Eve's Family Restaurant is another venue for gourmet breakfasts.

Oldsmar Flea Market in Pinellas County, is the biggest in Florida and comprises of centers with local businessman undertaking transactions.

Oldsmar has a vibrant nightlife with the AMC movie theater, the Tampa Bay Downs Racetrack, and the East Lake Woodlands Golf and Country Club for absolute relaxation.
